It was a tough day on the pitch for Gresford, losing our keeper to a red card and Brickfield taking control of the game who were deserved winners. Off the field a great day, with our well-bolstered committee team everything ran smoothly and a superb crowd of over 200 there to watch.
THE CLUB
The history of the present-day Gresford Athletic stretches back to 1903 where gresford finished 8th in the league and 5th in the following season. They reamined in the league until 1912 where after there's little evidence of the club in archives until 1922.
